Compared to the Mercury free zip this suit has an asymmetrical zip that opens up at one shoulder which makes it a little bit harder to get in, but it also reduces the amount of water from getting in the suit. The seams are taped so they are watertight and protected

Mercury Tie Dye

The Prolimit Mercury TR free x wetsuit for men, keeps you warm and comfortable during long cold sessions on the water. The suit has Thermal Rebound technology, this is an extra layer in between the neoprene and Zodiac that reflects body heat and blocks wind chill. Compared to the Mercury Free zip this suit has an asymmetrical zip that opens up at one shoulder which makes it a little bit harder to get in, but it also reduces the amount of water from getting in the suit. The seams are taped so they are watertight and protected.

 

Thermal Rebound

The 4 layer construction Thermal Rebound lining. This technology goes back to the mid 1970’s where NASA developed the thermal blankets for their missions into space as insulation.

Since 2011 the same principle is used on all major sport events where athletes are draped in shiny silver blankets when they finish. This effect of survival blankets for the protection against cold conditions is now available in our neoprene wetsuits.

4 layer construction
1. The outer layer ensures resilient protection.
2. Super stretchy neoprene layer provides insulation and unrestricted movement.
3. Alloy Thermal Rebound retains and regulates body heat.
4. A quick dry thermal fleece offers comfort enhanced by the Zodiac2plush thermal grid for optimal warmth.
